The people of Ghelmyon are not standing in place waiting for you to talk to them. Each one has a name, a routine, an opinion, and a memory. They get up, work, eat, drink, and sleep, whether or not you are watching.

What Makes Them Tick

Who You Will Meet

Innkeepers and blacksmiths, bards and merchants, healers, rangers, guards, farmers, smugglers, and nobles with secrets worth keeping. Some teach you a trade. Some can be hired into your party. Some will remember a slight for a very long time.

Woo almost anyone. Hire the local blacksmith to fight at your side. Marry the bard. Rob the merchant and watch the whole street change how it treats you. Catch the right person at the wrong moment and you may learn something they would have paid to keep quiet.

They Belong to Things

Most people answer to someone: the Town Guard, the Merchants Guild, the Thieves Guild, the Temple of the Dawn, the Rangers Lodge, and more. Eleven factions each track your reputation on their own. Help one and the others notice. Nothing here is isolated.
